About the Author

Mark Munsterhjelm teaches in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Windsor. He completed an MA in the Indigenous Governance at the University of Victoria and a PhD in Sociology and Social Justice at the University of Windsor.

His first book, Living Dead in the Pacific: Contested Sovereignty and Racism in Genetic Research on Taiwan Aborigines (2014 UBC Press), won the 2015 Gertrude J. Robinson Book Prize from the Canadian Communication Association. https://www.ubcpress.ca/living-dead-in-the-pacific
